Is there any dog that looks like a pit bull, lab, or boxer puppy that doesn’t grow to be as big as a pit bull?

By

So in other words is there a dog with a tough look of the dogs mentioned above but with the sweet look of a puppy that wont grow bigger than a regular puppy?

Some of the English Staffordshire Terriers are quite small.buy a female. As with most terriers, you have to socialize them with dogs and cats, otherwise a lot of terriers like to fight and chase after cats, squirrels any other small pets.Boston Terriers are small and look basically like a mini boxer!some people crop the ears some leave it natural.

My childhood pet was a Staffordshire bull terrier. They are similar to pit bulls but smaller and as sweet as can be. They are also very active. They aren’t aggressive by any means as long as they are raised with compassion. My dog totally lived up to her name “Sweetie” and everyone loved her. Here is a picture of one.

Pit Bulls ARE small dogs.

Did you know they were originally bred to be 20-30 pounds?

Don’t get one if you want a “tough” looking dog. You’re exactly what this breed DOESN’T need.

Get a stuffed dog. Sounds like you want a og for all the wrong reasons.

.. Maybe he just wants a nice manly dog…

Although a “manly puppy” is a bit of an oxy moron

You could also try a Bull Dog, they don’t get quite as tall, but they get pretty roly poly.

Our female Pitbull is probably as tall standing up as my 4 year old nephew, so I’d say about a medium sized dog (on my standards anyways, Small is a Jack Russell, Medium is like a Bull dog, Pit bull, Large is a Boxer or a Lab, XL is anything bigger than that) If you want to do some research you can go to the pet store and try to find books or magazines. I know there is one called “bully breeds”

I’d try a nice mixed breed, try working with a local rescue league they usually have some great “mutts” if you will and you can get a really original looking pup with a good personality and different sizes.

But. If you only want a dog for the look, I’m going to agree with everyone else, dont’ get one. Always research the personalities and health traits of the breed, not just the look.
