Does anyone have a boxer? what do you think of the breed? At first i wanted a small little lap dog, but now i am thinking of getting a boxer to protect me, and i hear they are energetic and playful which I would like. Does anyone have experience with boxers? thanks!

I feed it Innova the brand from natura?. But the problem is he cant keep out of the water and we have to bathe him every 3 days because he attracts flies. I know its damaging to the fur but what can we do? BTW, where can we find Solid Gold in malaysia?

She’s a smaller sized dalmatian, about 12 years old. She does have arthritis, and lately it’s been bothering her a lot. She needs help getting up, and when she’s up she squeals when she puts a lot of pressure on her hind legs, or when someone touches them. It’s too late to call the vet, and even it wasn’t I’m so broke, there’s really no way I could afford to take her. Is there anything I can do to help relieve her pain? Even if it’s just temporarily. Please help my poor dog.
First of all, I do my schooling online, so they pay for my internet and give me computers, so that’s why I have access to a computer. I’m sorry that I don’t have money, it doesn’t mean that I don’t care. It means that I’m having a hard time. And I’m in debt with the vet, so they can’t make a payment plan with me. I do try, and I do care. I didn’t post this to be harassed, I posted it to get help. If you’re just going to criticize me, that’s not going to help. Not a single person has any idea?
Thank you to the people who give me helpful answers, I’ll try anything I can. =/

Why does my dog act this way?

By · Comments (5)

Okay, I have a 2-1/2 year old basset hound/beagle mix…
He just chews on everything i sit down, so I take it away from him and gives him a chew toy.
He did this before and then he stopped, now he’s doing it all over again.
I just want to know why is he doing this?
We are taking him to the VET this friday, well at least my mother is.
I thought dogs stop chewing on things at his age.
Can someone tell me what to do??

I had a rott when I was about 15. He was the love of my life. The best dog I ever owned. I lost him to parvo at only 3 years old. I never wanted another rottweiler again!!. I rescued a bullmastiff about 5 years ago and he has been great. He is very calm. No accidents in the house, FANTASTIC with my daughter..Just a great dog all around. I decided I wanted a puppy for my birthday this year and my fiance talked me into a rottweiler puppy. He was soooooo cute. I met the parents, everything seemed great. It has been a very long time sinceI have owned a new puppy. Most of our dogs have been rescues. I assumed there would be a lot of work involved….

He is now 9 months old and It hurts me to say but I almost HATE this dog. I have had years of experience training dogs, showing dogs, even rehabbing fighting dogs. I don’t know what to do with him. He is 95 pounds and does not listen to anyone!!!! He is very sweet and a total attention whore..its very annoying but that part doesn’t really bother me. He cannot leave our mastiff alone. He just picks at him and bites him. He is always starting a fight. As you can imagine, it is a huge problem having 200+ pounds of dogs wrestling all through my house on a 24 hour basis. Because he refuses to leave the other dog alone, he has to spend way more time in his crate which I feel is not fair to him. I walk them both for at least an hour a day. The rottweiler is like a bull in a china shop even after a long walk. He tries to eat our cat, He alays knocks my daughter down. He will just poop in the house with no warning. He is AWFUL!!! I have never given up on a dog, but I feel like I am getting close with this one. Maybe its just the stress of a 2 year old and a puppy.. I dunno.. There are days when I love him to pieces and then most other days when I want to drop him off at the pound. Can anyone offer suggestions. I want to love him. I paid a fortune for him. I know he could be a good dog. I just don’t know what to do… Please help!!!

It is difficult for me to give her the kind of walks she needs because I have bad knees. I do not know what is enough walking time for her.

I have an old basset hound who naturally has a stinky smell. It doesn’t even get better with a bath. Any advice on keeping my house from stinking too?

I am finding it really hard to find any puppies here. I have tried online, posting wanted ads here and there looking for sellers or breeders, I still have a good month before I am able to get one, but does anyone have any suggestions on where I would try looking or asking?

Is a boxer a good dog?

I really would like to have a boxer but I have a 5 year old son and my girlfriend is worried that it may attack him. Are they good around kids or can they be violent? any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

We play this game where we both lay down, and I roll him over by pushing him. He growls and bites my arm (never clamping, just putting it in his mouth) and then comes back for more. Today, however, he barked at me and he had never done that before, just growling. Could I just be pissing him off? I am confused, why would he continue to come back and “play” if he was mad? He is a rescue dog, and I got him about 3 weeks ago. We have played like this probably 8-10 times. He is a dalmatian.
