What breed and a Maltese be mixed with?
ByFirst, I am not planning on breeding my dog or anything, I just want to know how many dog breeds can a Maltese be mixed with, I know some small breeds like Poodles (Maltipoo), Chihuahua (Malchi), Yorkie (Morkie),…but can Maltese be mixed with larger dogs like Rottweilers, Labs, Doberman Pinscher,…. ? And how many dogs are there is in an average litter? Can you name all the breeds that Maltese can mix with. And can a dog be pregnant by ‘mother-son’ and if yes, is there any health problem or problem with the pups. And one more thing, how to stop jealousy from my two dogs. If I give the son food, the mother will be ok, but if i give the mother food, the son will start aggression (not very much but I can tell that it’s jealous) and if the dogs are on bed, if i hug the mother, the son will start showing jealousy, any so on (you got the point right)

any breed of dog can technically breed with any other breed. Its just unethical to make mixed breed dogs.. and unsafe if the female is the smaller of the 2.
How many pups in an average litter depends.. larger dogs tend to have larger litters, smaller dogs tend to have smaller litters.
Yes a dog can get pregnant by a close relative, like mother to son.. but again, unethical to breed that closely. Risks of producing dogs with genetic health issues is higher with close inbreedings.
You have dominancy issues here.. evidently you have not assured yourself as the Alpha.. I suggest you google NILIF (nothing in life is free).. learn it, use it, and apply it.

huh?
A dog regardless of breed can mate and breed with any other breed of dog. It just isn’t something responsible breeders do.
So to answer your question…take any breed in the world and it could mate and reproduce with a Maltese. Why you would want to…I don’t know.
Yes, a son can impregnate his own mother. It is not advisable. Heath risks depend upon the two dogs. There could be a litter with no problems and there could be a litter that doesn’t even survive birth or must be put down. NOT something I would recommend trying. If this has happened, I would have the female in for an emergency spay asap. A male dog can impregnate a female when he is as young as 5-6 months.
The other issue is a training issue. Aggression is not acceptable at any time.
Look up NILF training like Bare Nekkid suggested.

1.) Yes, larger dogs and smaller dogs can end up creating puppies, although it’s usually difficult for the male if he’s the smaller of the two, (unless artificial insemination is involved, which is EXPENSIVE), and it can pose a LOT of health risks for the female if she’s the smaller of the two. Both of which make it unethical and just plain unreasonable, to create more mixed breed dogs. Not to mention the THOUSANDS wasting away in shelters as I type this, but that’s a different topic.
2.) Average litter depends on breed, genetics, over all health of both dogs, etc…
3.) No, I can’t name all the breeds that a Maltese can mix with, as basically any two intact dogs can create and/or have puppies.
4.) Yes, a dog can become pregnant by a relative, be it a close relative or a distant one. Just about the only time problems with health, mental stability, etc… occur due to line-breeding and/or inbreeding, is when it’s done by someone that has NO idea what they’re doing.
5.) Sounds like YOU need to become the leader, not your dogs. He shows aggression, he gets a correction and is removed from the area. Also, pick ONE dog to feed first, or feed them at the same time after they’re both calm and are focused on YOU not the food (this should be done whether or not you feed them at the same time), from separate bowls, etc… As for the bed, if he shows aggression, he is immediately removed from the bed until you give him permission to come back (once he’s fully calmed down, etc..). I also recommend looking into the NILIF (Nothing In Life Is Free, you can Google it) training method to help you out.
FYI: A bit off topic, but those names you listed “maltipoo”, “malchi”, “morkie”, etc… are NOT breeds, they are still mixed breed dogs. Cutesy names like that are used for the sole purpose of making the dog seem special, and to help line the pockets of the irresponsible idiots creating them. “Oh, look, it has a name, it MUST be a real breed! Not like the maltese and poodle mix at the shelter! This one’s special and has an ADORABLE name! So what if it’s $3,000!?! It’s SPECIAL!!” Pretty sure you get where I’m goin with this. The use of these names, in my opinion, does nothing to help stop this ridiculous fad, and only enhances it. But that’s my opinion, and now I’m rambling because I’m tired. My apologies for that!

Well a Maltese technically CAN be bred to any other dog. But it doesn’t mean they are creating a recognized breed. Breeding a Maltese to any dog other than another Maltese would create a mutt, nothing more.
Yes, mother-son breedings can happen and yes, it threatens greater risks of poor characteristics and health issues in the offspring.
How many dogs are in an average litter is not determined by the type of dog, but rather the timing of the ties between the male and female.
