Is it a male, or female? One syllable names are best, for the dog and for the children. Or you can use a long name, but have it shortened to a nick name—Like, Raznik(Call it Raz) Or Cinderella(call it Cin)
Bogey, Sakari, Zepplin, Ziggy, Fiji, Barbados, Tater, Booger or Aspen! OHHHH or you could name hime peas and the next dog or animal you get, you could name it carrots!!! then you would have peas and carrots…or name them apples and oranges!

When I was a kid, I had a yellow dog named Butterscotch…If that’s too hard, Butter could be an option.
Then again, there’s always Fred. : )
